Agerola

Agerola is a mountain commune made up of several villages, including Bomerano, the starting point of the famous Path of the Gods. It is located above the coast and can be reached by bus from Amalfi in about 40 minutes. This is an excellent choice for budget travellers: hotels and restaurants here are much more affordable, and the natural views are stunning.

Things to Do in Agerola

Hotels and food here are several times cheaper than on the coast. There are fewer tourists and plenty of parking. Try the local Fior di Latte cheese – it is produced right here.

You can also reach the nearby village of San Lazzaro – either by bus or car. Its viewpoints offer stunning panoramic views of the entire Amalfi Coast, making it a perfect spot for photos and a peaceful walk.
