Getting Around the Amalfi Coast by Bus
Buses are the cheapest and most common transport on the coast. They connect all towns from Sorrento to Salerno, including Positano, Amalfi, Maiori, Minori, and others.
Bus stops are often located on the main road. It’s best to check the schedule locally – delays are possible during high season.
How to Get Around the Amalfi Coast by Ferry
Ferries are a scenic and fast way to travel between the towns on the coast and the island of Capri. During the season, they run regularly.
Buy tickets in advance on Direct Ferries or Ferryhopper, especially on weekends and in summer.
Getting Around by Car and Parking
Driving along the Amalfi Coast is not recommended: narrow roads, traffic jams, and expensive parking. However, if you travel with luggage or during the off-season, a car can be convenient.
It’s better to leave the car in hotel parking (if available) or in towns like Agerola, where it’s easier to find a spot.
