Praiano and Fiordo di Furore
Praiano is a quiet and scenic town located between Positano and Amalfi. It doesn’t have the big tourist crowds of its neighbours, but offers peaceful beaches, viewpoints, a church with a majolica dome, and hotels with stunning views.

What to See in Praiano
Church of San Gennaro (Chiesa di San Gennaro) – one of the most beautiful churches on the coast. Its dome, covered with colourful majolica tiles, has become a symbol of Praiano. From the square in front of the church, you get a scenic sea view, especially at sunset.
The main beach in Praiano is Marina di Praia, located between cliffs. Here you can swim, go kayaking, and even have lunch at a restaurant with a sea view.
There is also a trail in Praiano going up to the village of Agerola, where the Path of the Gods begins. The climb takes about 1.5 hours, the route is marked and follows scenic stepped paths.
Fiordo di Furore
Fiordo di Furore is one of the most unique places on the Amalfi Coast. It has often been used for filming movies, commercials, and travel postcards. A staircase leads down to the beach.
In the morning, it’s especially quiet and beautiful – the perfect time for photos or swimming. From Fiordo di Furore, you can hike up to Agerola – the walk takes about 1.5 hours, following stairs and trails up into the mountains. This is a great chance to enjoy nature and reach the starting point of the Path of the Gods.
