Can you swim in the sea?

Yes, the sea is clean and clear. Most beaches are pebbly, but the entry into the water is easy. The best time for swimming is from June to September, when the water is warmest.

Is the Amalfi Coast good for families with children?

Yes, but keep in mind that Positano has many stairs and steep streets, which can be difficult with small children and strollers. The best towns for families are Minori and Maiori: almost no hills, flat promenade, wide beaches, and easy access to hotels and cafes.
