What to See in Ravello
Villa Rufolo is the most famous place in Ravello. Built in the 13th century, it’s known for its blooming gardens and stunning views of the coast. Almost all famous photos of Ravello are taken here. All places on this page are marked on the map below.
Villa Cimbrone is the second most popular site. It has been turned into a hotel, but the gardens and terraces are open to visitors. Be sure to walk to the “Terrace of Infinity” – the famous cliffside terrace with breathtaking sea views.
Cathedral of Saint Pantaleon on the main square was built in the 11th century. Inside, you’ll find a museum and beautiful mosaics. Also, walk through Ravello’s narrow streets and visit the ceramic and souvenir shops.
How to Get to Ravello
The easiest way to reach Ravello is by bus from Amalfi (see details on the How to Get Around page). There is also a scenic walking trail from Minori – you can find the full route on the «Ravello – Minori – Maiori» page.
If you come by car, keep in mind that parking is very limited, and during high season, spots fill up early in the morning.
