Paestum
Paestum is an ancient Greek city in southern Italy, and one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the country. Three temples dedicated to Greek gods are very well preserved, built over 2,500 years ago! Walking through the site, you will feel the atmosphere of the ancient world.

What to See in Paestum
The main attraction is the three massive Doric temples, dedicated to the goddesses Hera and Athena. They are considered some of the best examples of ancient Greek architecture outside Greece. You can also see the ruins of the ancient city with streets, an amphitheatre, temples, and well-preserved city walls.
On the site, there is a museum with unique artefacts – jewellery, clay vases, sculptures, and famous frescoes, including the well-known "Diving Scene" – a rare example of ancient wall painting.
